If you’ve received the okay from your veterinarian to feed your pup a homemade diet, this is a healthy and easy recipe to add to the menu. You can use any dog-friendly vegetables that you have available. Healthy options include peas, broccoli, green beans, squash or pumpkin.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (chopped)
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup dog-friendly veggies (chopped)
- 1/4 cup quick oats
- 1 tsp. coconut oil
Melt the coconut oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Brown the chicken. Add the chicken broth, vegetables and oats. Allow the recipe to simmer for about 10 minutes.
Once the food has cooled, you can serve it to your dog.
