Dog Has Been Trained To Supervise Little Girl While She Does Her Homework

Best boy ever! Not only does Riceball the dog have lots of love to share with his family, he’s also quite the adept babysitter as well. In China’s southern province of Guizhou, one man has trained his dog to supervise his daughter while she does her homework. This dog definitely knows how to crack the whip when needed as he keeps her from getting distracted on her mobile device. What a good boy!

Xu Liang first trained Riceball to stand guard over food in order to protect it from the cat. Since Riceball did so well in his task, it got Liang thinking. That is when he decided that perhaps Riceball could help keep his daughter from getting distracted while working on her homework. The girl had been finding it difficult to stay focused.

That is where Riceball came in and helped to change things. Now, she no longer feels bored or lonely and is able to complete her work without a problem. Liang first got Riceball to be the girl’s unofficial tutor when she was 8 years old and Riceball had just joined the family. Now, Riceball is 3 years old and the girl is 11, proving that the years have led to an incredible bond between these two. 

Riceball’s supervisor gig has even expanded as he now makes sure that she practices her piano skills as well! Perhaps this will continue into her college years? We can only hope.
