Enhanced Dog DNA Tests Are Now Available

Wisdom Health Genetics now offers two new cheek-swab dog DNA tests that give pet owners a deeper look at their dogs’ genetic health and genetics.

In addition to analyzing your dog’s DNA to find out which breeds make up her ancestry, Wisdom Panel Essential can identify more than 25 different medication sensitivities, immune deficiencies and bleeding disorders, and can tell you your dog’s projected ideal weight range based on his body characteristics and lineage. Wisdom Panel Premium provides all the same information as the Essential version, plus tests for genetic predisposition toward more than 180 diseases and identifies your dog’s carrier status for certain genetic disorders.
