Pawstruck Dog Chews – Top Dog Tips
All dogs need to chew. While some have a stronger desire than others, it’s a natural instinct that all dogs must satisfy. Finding natural, healthy products for your pup to gnaw on is an important responsibility. Pawstruck dog chews are natural and safe for all dogs, so I tested them out with my pack to see how enticing they are.
Cheap, low quality dog treats and chews are made with artificial ingredients and useless fillers. These poor quality chews are often made with chemicals and harmful ingredients. It’s important that you read the label and understand exactly what you are feeding your dog.
Pawstruck Dog Chews are made with all-natural ingredients, so you know exactly what your dog is getting. I usually make homemade treats for my pets, but I also purchase limited ingredient commercial chews to provide them with mental stimulation and satisfy their natural desire to chew. In this review, I’ll give you all the details on these chews and let you know if they’re a good value for the money spent.
Pawstruck Dog Chews Review
Dental Chews
Dental health is an important part of caring for your dog’s overall health and well being. While you should be brushing your dog’s teeth on a regular basis, dental chews can be used in between brushings to help scrape the plaque and tartar from the teeth.
Pawstruck recommends feeding your dog one of these treats per day to fight plaque and tartar buildup. They are easy to digest with just 9 ingredients, including: potato flour, miscanthus grass, vegetable glycerin, brown rice flour, natural flavors, sunflower lecithin, parsley, cultured skim milk and cumin.
These dog chews are wheat, gluten, corn and soy free. They have no artificial ingredients, and are made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients. They are also made in 2 sizes:
- Small – 3.68 inches long made for dogs weighing 5-30 pounds
- Large – 5.25 inches long made for dogs weighing 30+ pounds
You can purchase these chews on Amazon in packages of 15, 30 or 120. Most chews only come in packages of about 12-20. I like the larger bags, because I have 3 dogs. Being able to buy in larger quantities makes it easier for me, especially considering I feed each dog one treat per day.
Pawstruck Dental Chews sell for $15-$165, depending on the size of the chews and the quantity you purchase.
Esophagus Straps
These single-ingredient dog chews are made with 100% natural beef esophagus. There are no artificial flavors, colors, hormones or preservatives. They are also sourced from free-range, grass-fed beef.
The best benefit of these dog chews is that they are a natural source of chondroitin to support joint health. They are available in 2 sizes:
- Medium – 4″-6″ strips
- Large – 9″-10″ strips
You can purchase these chews on Amazon in packages of 15, 30, 60 or 120. Like the dental chews above, I like the option to buy in large quantities. Pawstruck Esophagus Straps sell for $12.41-$148.34, depending on the size of the chews and the quantity you purchase.

Beef Collagen Sticks
Natural collagen is from the deepest inner layer of the skin. Known as the corium, this layer is more elastic and easier to digest than the outer layer, known as the epidermis. Traditional rawhide chews are made from the epidermis.
The corium also offers more nutritional benefits than the epidermis. It is a natural source of glucosamine and chondroitin, which support joint health. They are also low-fat and high in protein (75%) to aid in tissue repair and muscle development in active dogs.
Collagen also helps to soothe and repair gut tissue. That means that these chews may be beneficial for gastrointestinal issues and can also help with nutrient absorption. You may recognize collagen as a common ingredient in beauty products for humans. That is because it also has many properties that are beneficial for your dog’s skin and coat health.
These beef collagen sticks are single ingredient treats made from free-range, grass-fed cattle. Chewing these snacks will help to scrape plaque and tartar buildup off of your pup’s teeth. They’re available in 6″ and 12″ lengths.
You can purchase them in packages of 5 or 25 for $15.99-$94.99, depending on the size and quantity that you buy.
Bizarre Bully Sticks
Pawstruck calls these chews “bizarre”, because they may not look 100% perfect. These are high quality, 100% natural bully sticks made of beef pizzle. While other companies throw out the bully sticks that don’t look perfect, Pawstruck doesn’t waste them.
There are not artificial ingredients, hormones or chemicals used when making these chews. Like the other Pawstruck chews that I tried, they are made from free-range, grass-fed cattle. They are also 100% rawhide free.
You can buy 5″-7″ or 8″-12″ sticks. They come in 8-ounce, 1-pound, 2-pound and 5-pound bags. The price ranges from $22.56-$194.25, depending on the size of the bag. The price doesn’t change based on the size of the sticks, because the smaller size just means there are more sticks per bag.
Pawstruck dog chews aren’t the cheapest chews on the market. However, if you compare these chews to other commercial products of the same quality, they price is similar. You will pay more for higher quality products, and Pawstruck dog chews are no exception.
Given their quality, safety and the available sizing options, I do feel that these dog chews are a good value for the money.
