As she wrote in her caption, “I suffer from anxiety and was recently diagnosed with PTSD. Having Watson be my emotional support dog was the best thing that [has] happened to me. I’ve grown so much as a person thanks to that one dog in my life that makes me want to keep going.”

In the video, viewers can observe Jen as she sits on the floor, her head slumped in her hands. That is when Watson sees her and immediately rushes over in order to give Jen a hug. This small act is everything that she needs to be able to work her way through the difficult moment – and through it all Watson is faithfully there for her and lending his support.

And his role has been even more vital throughout the pandemic, as Jen added, “While being quarantined and having time to reflect on many things, one thing I thought of is how on earth was I so lucky to have such a caring and special dog like Watson. Dogs are amazing. Dogs are life.”

And that is so true – dogs are the best! What do you think of Jen and Winston’s story? Do you have an emotional support dog? Do you know someone who does? Let us know!
