Rogz Dog Toys Review – We’ve Tested Their Best Gear
Most dogs enjoy playing with some type of toy. Some dogs like to play tug-of-war or fetch, while others just enjoy chewing or carrying toys around. Rogz dog toys come in a variety of styles to meet the needs of virtually any dog. Providing a variety of toys for your pet will ensure he doesn’t get bored.
If you think dog toys are just a tool to keep your pet entertained and out of your hair, think again. Providing a variety of the right types of toys will keep Fido mentally stimulated, which is an important part of properly caring for him.
Just like us, our dogs crave mental stimulation. Without it, they’ll get bored and begin to find things to entertain themselves. Much like a bored toddler, this will likely result in your pet ruining something or getting into something that he shouldn’t be touching.
Giving your dog a variety of toys will keep him happy and healthy. He’ll be able to play and have fun, which will keep him from looking for something to do on his own. Not to mention, buying a bunch of quality dog toys is bound to be cheaper than replacing furniture, shoes, clothing, and any else that your dog may ruin.
Rogz Dog Toys are made by a company that claims the title of “the world’s coolest pet gear” that is made with high quality, durable materials. Their dog toys are all very affordable, and I was interested in checking them out to see if they are worth the price.
Rogz Dog Toys Review
1. Scrubz
As you can see in the photograph above, these toys are great for playing tug-of-war. Our dogs love to play tug together, and their Scrubz toys are still holding up well after 2 months of rough play.
These Rogz dog toys are made of a thick, cotton-polyester blend woven rope. They are designed to help clean your dog’s teeth as he chews. As I demonstrate in my video review above, they also make crackling and crunching noises to keep your pup entertained and engaged.
Scrubz dog toys are available in 3 sizes-small, medium, and large. We have the medium (pink) and large sizes (blue). Depending on the size that your dog needs, you can purchase one of these toys on Amazon for $6.03-$13.99.
2. Yumz
Toys that can be stuffed with treats and food are a favorite for our girls, especially our Labrador. I like these types of treats too, because they keep our dogs occupied for more than just a few minutes. They are great for times when I do not have the ability to play with them, like when we have company or when I’m working.
Rogz has created their Yumz dog toy for pups like mine. They are made of thermoplastic rubber (TPR), which is 100% safe, lead-free, and fully recyclable.
There is a hole through the center of the toy that can be stuffed with treats or peanut butter. This turns a traditional dog toy into an interactive, mentally stimulating plaything.
Our dogs really like the versatility of these Rogz dog toys. They have textured sides that massage your pet’s gums while he chews. Plus, their unique shape makes them bounce erratically for extra fun while fetching.
Yumz is also available in 3 sizes-small, medium, and large. Depending on the size that your dog needs, you can purchase one of these toys on Amazon for $7.99-$12.99.
3. Tumbler
Another of our dog’s favorites is the treat dispensing toy. These types of toys drop treats or kibble sporadically as your dog pushes them around the floor.
Rogz dog toys come in a treat-dispensing variety as well, the Tumbler. These hard plastic balls can be used as a toy or a slow feeder. They are also dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.
The hard plastic is very durable, and I think it would stand up well to tough chewers.
I like that the Tumbler toy has adjustable difficulty levels. In my video review above, I demonstrate how easy it is to adjust the level. You can begin on the easiest level, and gradually increase the difficulty as your dog gets used to playing with this toy.
The Tumbler is only available in one size, and it comes in 4 colors. You can purchase one of these Rogz dog toys on Amazon for $15.99. As with all of the other Rogz dog toys, this one is a good value for the money, especially if your dog is highly motivated by food.
